For those who have not heard the most recent BATB Post-Fight Wrap-Up, the first Beltway Boxing card of 2009 will take place on Saturday, January 17 when Left Hook Boxing will host a card at the ABC Sports Arena in Springfield, VA.
Beltway favorites Andrew "The Doo Man" Farmer and Terry "T-Brick" Roy will be among the participants on this card.
Also, there will be an amateur show on Saturday, January 24 and Saturday, January 31 at Tony's Boxing Gym, located at 2201 Shannon Place, SE in DC. This will be the 2009 USA Open Tournament. Proceeds from the two-day event will go towards travel for advancing boxers.
A reminder: There will also be a pro show at Martin's West in Woodlawn, MD on Friday, January 23.
