ReplyDeleteOYEA, ITS 4 A BELT NABF IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN
ReplyDeleteGET THAT MONEY "HURRICANE" MAYES
ReplyDeleteMayes looks in raw shape, he will be victorious.
ReplyDeleteCorey "Black Ice" Cummings is fighting Chris Henry for The NABF Light Heavyweight Title
ReplyDeleteThis is a really great show, I wish I could be there. We'll find out what kind of chin Jargal has because Carasquillo is one heck of a puncher.
ReplyDeleteMackey and Synder, I think Synder stops him this time.
Mayes and Lockett, it looks like Mayes' chin, although still not the best, is holding up a little better than it was.
Oh, and if that is Ishmail "The Arsenal" Arvin in the very first post, George "War Time" Rivera knocked off Jesse Nicklow and you're next on the list.
ISHMAIL WILL MURDER RIVERA, DONT ASK FOR WHAT YOU CANT HANDLE
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely 100% NOT TRUE! Rivera has sparred with Arvin several times and picked him a part each and every time. Arvin isn't even as good as Nicklow.
ReplyDeleteBoxing is not sparring.
ReplyDeleteYO, WHO'S THE CLOWN CALLING ME OUT..LOL I'M SITTIN HERE TRIPPIN DUDES PUTTIN MY NAME OUT THERE..SIGN UR NAME CHUMP..ARSENAL..
ReplyDeleteI'M COOL WITH ALL THE LOCAL FIGHTERS..NOT INTERESTED IN FIGHTING ANY OF THEM..NO MONEY IN IT..WHO R U ANYWAY?SOMEBODY CLOSE 2 GEORGE..CANT B HE WOULD SLAPP U SILLY IF HE SAW UR POST..ARSENAL..
ReplyDeletegary is t-brick still fighting in florida tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteArvin,
ReplyDeleteYou know George would beat you with ease and you know you would NEVER fight him, not for any amount of money. How many times did you even touch him in your sparring sessions? Once, twice? About the same amount of times that Jesse hit him on Saturday night. He would dissect you ease. And I'll say it again, you're not as good as Nicklow, he would whip you too. You'll never fight him either. And as far as money goes, like you're getting paid big bucks to fight on ESPN or in the Ballroom where you fought a draw against a guy 7 and 11 and lost to a guy 12 and 6. Come on man, like you earned that title! Get a reality check. The truth is you may think you're worth big money to fight Rivera, but you're not. You couldn't draw flies to a dump! You're mediocre at best - Ishmail "Mediocre" Arvin and George Rivera would punish you!
U STILL DIDNT SIGN UR NAME.LOL..ARSENAL..
ReplyDeleteIrritating when they do that isn't Arsenal?
ReplyDeleteI DONT THINK U EVEN NO GEORGE AND I NO U HAVENT SEEN US SPARRING CAUSE U WOULD'NT B SAYING THAT DUM SHIT.. ON MY WAY 2 THE GYM, GROW SOME BALLS AND SIGN UR NAME OR I'M DONE POSTING WITH U..ARSENAL..
ReplyDeleteSo what if I didn't sign my name, you won't sign a contract with George's name on it. See you later Ismail "Mediocre" Arvin.
ReplyDeleteISH WHOOP HIS & GEORGE'S AZZ
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the fight can get done if Ishmail will fight George. George doesn't look like he's afraid to take tough fights.
ReplyDeleteReading this stuff is great and it got me to thinking about the exceptional talent we have in the area in the middleweight and jr. middlweight division. I would love to see official Boxing Along The Beltway Rankings. IMO the top guys in this area in those weight classes are as follows (no particular order):
ReplyDeleteIshmail Avin
Jesse Nicklow
Jason Champion
Jimmy Lange
George Rivera
Fernando Guerrero
Josh Snyder
John Mackey
Tim Coleman
Some of hese guys are a little bigger than the others but it's still a hell of a list!
tracy breawer can go on that list also,i saw him fight last week and he look good to me.
ReplyDeleteTo tell you the truth, I have thought about doing some semblance of rankings for the blog. I used to do a monthly top ten pound-for-pound Beltway rankings. That is something I may resurrect again if the time permits.
ReplyDeleteI don't think we have enough in each weight class to do a top ten.
I almost put Tracy Brewer on the list because he does look like a good prospect, but he's still fighting 4 rounders which is why I left him off.
ReplyDeleteGary, I would love to see rankings in each division, perhaps a top 5 list. Or perhaps guys who are at least at a 6 round level on a consistent basis could be ranked.
wtf is that
ReplyDeleteThanks Wendy.
ReplyDeleteNot very often nerds chime in on this blog.
