The super middleweight rematch between Baltimore boxers Henry "Hurricane" Mayes and Willie "For Real" Williams will be the main event on the next Baltimore Pro Boxing card on Wednesday, November 26 at Martin's West in Woodlawn, MD. The rematch will be for the East Coast title.
On October 3 in Salisbury, MD, the two super middleweights fought to a spirited six-round draw. This bout is scheduled for eight rounds. Since that bout, Mayes (7-6-2, four KO's, three no-contests) was involved in a bout on November 6 in Washington, DC against Willis Lockett that was ruled a no-contest after two rounds. Williams (11-2-1, three KO's) has not fought since the October 3 contest.
The co-feature on the card will be the third bout in a trilogy between cruiserweightsRobert "The Mac Attack" McConnell of Ellicott City, MD and Octavius Davis of Wilson, NC. This bout will be the four-round rubber match. McConnell (1-2) won the first bout on by four-round majority decision on June 13 at Du Burns Arena in Baltimore. Davis (2-2-1, one KO) took the second bout by four-round unanimous decision on September 5 at Du Burns.
Other bouts on the card include a cruiserweight matchup between the returning "Irish" Glenn Williams, now fighting out of Glen Burnie, MD and Chris Cook of York, SC. Williams (4-4-1, four KO's) has been out of action since a fifth-round knockout loss to Horace Grant on January 27, 2007 in Pikesville, MD. Cook (3-15-1, one KO) fought as a middleweight against Tony Jeter on September 19 in Millersville, MD. Cook has fought boxers up to 180 pounds during his career.
Undefeated Randallstown, MD middleweight Cecil McCalla will battle DC's Calvin "Shotgun" Aughtrey in a four-round encounter. McCalla (2-0, one KO) is coming off a first-round knockout over Emmanuel Sharp on November 1 in Winston-Salem, NC. Aughtrey (0-3, one NC) also fought his last bout on November 1 when he lost a four-round unanimous decision to Tracey Brewer in Fairfax, VA.
Also slated for the card will be undefeated Baltimore welterweight James Stevenson (3-0, three KO's), the returning Silver Spring, MD middleweight "El Gallo" George Armenta (12-4, 10 KO's) and "Contender -- Season One star Jesse Brinkley.

Is this the same Cook thayt got the dog crap beat out of him by middleweight Tony Jeter,come on atleast put this guy in with someone his weight.

Glenn Williams is actually a super middleweight. He fought for paydays against much bigger guys and he was out of shape.
I saw him tonight in Millersville and he looks in great shape, right at super middleweight.
