Takoma Park, MD light heavyweight Willis "The Prophet" Lockett lost a six-round unanimous decision to Tommy Karpency of Adah, PA at the Caravan II Albergo Complex in New Castle, PA last night.
The judges's scorecards were pretty close with Lockett losing by scores of 57-55, 57-55 and 58-54.
Lockett's record falls to 10-7-5, four KO's and is winless in his last four bouts (and one no-contest). Karpency is now 15-1-1, 10 KO's.
Also, Larry "The Gladiator" Brothers of DC was stopped at 2:27 of the first round by undefeated Caleb "Golden" Truax in Sioux Falls, SD. Brothers is now 7-32-3, five KO's. The loss was Brothers's eighth straight and 16th in his last 17 bouts. Truax is now 9-0, six KO's.

Love Larry Brothers, but, really, the Pennsylvania commission isn't all it thinks it is if it's licensing that poor guy. If something bad every happens to him, the commissioners with jurisdiction should be fired, or more.
Actually, Brothers's bout was in South Dakota.
Look at the score card and see how close the fight was. 57-55 on two of the cards, Willis was down twice in the 1st. Willis was careless and got caught with right hook in the 1st round and was seriously hurt like he did against Henry Mayes earlier this month. But real fighter he is came back and KOd Hanry Mayed and Beat up tortured Karpency in round 4,5and 6. Maybe Willis could have stopped him if referee didn't keep interfere for Karpency's holding.
Willis has a world chapionship heart and the determination. He will work harder and be a better fighter next time. Han Kim
