Beltway Boxers Lose Out-Of-Town Bouts!

It was a tough couple of days for three Beltway Boxers. In Tampa, FL last night, cruiserweight Terry "T-Brick" Roy of Front Royal, VA suffered his first pro loss as he was stopped by undefeated Nick "The Assassin" Ianuzzi of Tampa in the fifth round. The bout was fought at heavyweight. Roy is now 7-1-2, six KO's while Ianuzzi is 9-0, six KO's.

In Atlantic City, NJ last night, Baltimore cruiserweight Bernard "Bad Ass" Brown was stopped in the second round by Alexis Mejias of Paterson, NJ. Brown is 6-5-2, with three KO's while Mejias is 8-1, three KO's.

On Thursday night in Dallas, TX, Baltimore light heavyweight Corey "Black Ice" Cummings lost a 12-round unanimous decision to "Hard Hittin'" Chris Henry of Houston, TX for the NABF Light Heavyweight title. The scores were heavily in favor of Henry, 120-108 (twice) and 119-109. Cummings's record falls to 16-4, 12 KO's while Henry's record rises to 23-1, 18 KO's.

  7. Potential or received? Could/have you ever delivered that 30K to any boxer in your stable? If this one was never even able to obtain it, and you put that in their head, who's the selfish one?

  8. No big deal Terry. You stepped up to take a fight outside of the Beltway. For that you deserve credit, win,lose, or draw.
    I'm glad you told me what the real deal was when we spoke. Best to always keep your integrety, no matter what people think. I wish you the best.
