Mitchell, L. Peterson, Tucker Head Westward!

Three of our undefeated Beltway Boxers will be heading west in the next few weeks for boxing action.

Brandywine, MD heavyweight Seth "Mayhem" Mitchell will be a part of a card on Friday, October 24 at the Morongo Casino Resort and Spa in Cabazon, CA. No word yet on who the opponent will be for Mitchell (6-0-1, four KO's), who will be making his third appearance at this location.

On Saturday, November 1, DC's Lamont Peterson will be fighting in a 10-round contest at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV. No official word on who the opponent will be for Peterson (25-0, 12 KO's), but there are reports that the opponent might be Lanardo "Pain Server" Tyner of Houston, TX (19-1, 11 KO's) who lost his first pro bout in his last outing on May 9 in Atlantic City, NJ. Tyner dropped a 12-round unanimous decision to Mike Arnaoutis for the USBA Junior Welterweight Title.

The bout will be part of a Pay-Per-View telecast, but no word on whether Peterson will be on the televised portion of the card.

Also, I'm just receiving word that undefeated Eldersburg, MD light heavyweight Mark "TNT" Tucker (5-0, five KO's) will also be on the November 1 card in Las Vegas. No word yet on his opponent.
