Baltimore heavyweight Bernard "Bad Ass" Brown broke a three-bout losing streak by winning a six-round unanimous decision over Plainfield, NJ's Terrell Nelson last night at Bally's Event Center in Atlantic City, NJ.
Brown won 58-56 on all three judge's scorecards. The win raises his record to 6-4-2, three KO's. Nelson falls to 8-6, five KO's.
In Albuquerque, NM, veteran DC super featherweight Daniel "The Prophet" Attah was stopped in the fourth round by undefeated prospect Urbano Antillon at the Isleta Casino. According to Fightnews.com, Attah took a knee in the third and fourth round, staying down in the fourth. The bout was stopped at 1:13 of the round. Attah is now 24-5-1, eight KO's while Antillon remained undefeated at 24-0, 17 KO's.
