Martin Loses in Philadelphia!

Baltimore featherweight Darrell Martin lost a four-round unanimous decision to Philadelphia's Paul Fernandez tonight at the Legendary Blue Horizon in Philadelphia.

After a strong first round, Martin faded throughout the rest of the contest as Fernandez's strong body shots took their toll.

Martin has now lost three in a row and his record is now 2-4.

Also on the card, Cumberland, MD junior middleweight Dontre King lost his pro debut by second-round TKO to Steve O'Meara of London, England (2-0, one KO) and junior welterweight Randolph Scott of Salisbury, MD lost his pro debut to Philadelphia's Gerald Smith by a four-round majority decision. Both Beltway Boxers were late additions to this card.
