Unfortunately, the word "complete" never means the same in the boxing world as it does in other venues. There are wholesale changes to the Saturday, May 3 card at the District Heights Municipal Center in District Heights, MD.
The biggest change comes in the main event. The featherweight bout between Thomas "KO" Snow of Capitol Heights, MD and Eric Hunter of Philadelphia has been called off. Snow reportedly took ill earlier this week, fainting after a training session. Doctors wanted him to see a neurologist, who has told him he cannot fight.
The main event will now feature veteran DC super middleweight Demetrius Davis in an eight-round contest against Brian "The Assassin" Norman of Decatur, GA. Davis (17-14-4, seven KO's) will be trying to break a four-bout losing streak. Three of those losses have come during Davis's comeback after an eight-year absence. Davis last fought on October 5 in Philadelphia, losing a six-round split decision to Omar Pittman.
Norman (16-6, four KO's) is coming off a six-round unanimous decision victory over Timothy Hall on April 4 in Douglasville, GA. Prior to that victory, Norman lost a 10-round unanimous decision to Jean Pascal in December of 2007 for the NABA, NABF and NABO Super Middleweight title in Montreal, CA. Davis will be the third Beltway Boxer Norman has faced. Norman lost by third-round TKO to Henry Buchanan in September of 2004 at Michael's Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie, MD and lost by six-round majority decision to Reginald Taylor in October 2005 in Lula, MS.
In other changes on the card, Lenwood Dozier will not be on the show, so Kendrick Walker of DC (0-1-1) will now face James Denson of Akron, OH (2-1, one KO). Denson was originally scheduled to take on Norman "The Shadow" Allen . Allen will now take on Dustin Guillimen of Nebraska (1-4).
Also, Hyattsville, MD junior lightweight Lawrence Martin will now make his pro debut against Akron's Ahmed Poskovic (0-2), who replaces Mel Crossty.

Snow fainted after a training session? I think the guys on this blog may be right about him. This is VERY suspect in my eyes!
The guy got Lucky! Snow aint called KO SNOW for nothing. Snow would have beat this guy with one arm. Snow is undefeated and is without question the top boxer this area has right now. I have seen Snow outclass eventhe amateur local stars. Trust me! Snow will be a world champion in the near future.
ok-why is he 10-0 with 8 ko's to his credit? Sound like u r just jealious!!! Someone is doing the right thing and it aint u fool.
Snow will be fighting big money real soon and you will not even be able to aford a ticket you scum bag.
Right now KO SNOW is the baddest fighter in the Dc area. He is 10-0
and has fought 10 good boxers and has knocked out 8 of them. Give this guy some credit. Why are all of you so envy of Snow. He has worked hard to get where he is at and he has fought the best they have to offer right now. He was also an great amateur boxer with over 65 fights and as far as I know-he won every bout and had over 50 knock outs. You just wish you were him. Support your local boxers you deranged lunatick.
OMG! Whatever Becky!
Gary I love it! You have created something that we all love.
CONTROVERSITY!!!
Snow wood KO Clearence Vinson in 1 round.
I should hope so. Vinson is older now and has a serious drinking habit.
You are getting him mixed up with Eric Mighty Mouse Akins
Keep up the good work snow and you will be the last one standing. Ignore these fools. $$$$$$$$$$
your time will come...
u all are stupid yall think he's the baddest thing in.whAt are not this one..and jealous of who a guy who has fought nobody..a guy who dodges good opponents ..and clarence won an olympic medal..snow never even won a national..so get that bs ut of here...allan russell..or gary would woooop him now that bum
yes for sure, that Snow is a real coward and real champion of dodgeing opponents. he should go ahead and play some dodge ball with his son, instead of pretending to be a boxer.
Snow is a nice young man who should fight on the West Coast!!!. Cuz he ain't wanted know where around here. trust me.
Anon said: "If it looks like shit & smells like shit... guess what it is?"
snowflakes?
No, but seriously... let's wait for some evidence before laying it thick on Snow.
Everyone deserves a fair trial...
The guy has fought absolutely no one. He fought 5 people making their pro debut and not one person he fought had a winning record when they fought. the best was 1-1. Im not saying he wont turn out to be good but you cant tell much when hes fighting guys off the street.
