Today's action at the National Golden Gloves in Grand Rapids, MI saw Beltway Boxers win two bouts and lose two.
In the 119-pound class, Kevin Rivers of DC stopped Fernando Parks of Knoxville, TN in the third round. Jeremiah Wiggins of DC also won his first bout in the 152-pound class, capturing a decision over Juan Gonzalez of Nevada.
Meanwhile, Thomas Williams of Laurel, MD lost his first bout in the 178-pound class, dropping a decision to J'Leon Love of Detroit, MI. Also, Andre Brickhouse of DC lost a decision to Chean Chess of Cincinnati, OH in the 201+ pound class.
