Joppy Scores First-Round Stoppage on St. Lucia!
Former WBA Middleweight champion William Joppy stopped Etienne "ET" Whitaker with a crushing right hand at 1:58 of the first round on the Caribbean island of St. Lucia last night. With the win, Joppy raised his record to 39-4-1, 30 KO's. Whitaker's record falls to 32-28-2, 21 KO's.

What did I tell everyone Joppy is Back!! One more fight and he's going for another World Title.
Someone said Whitaker took the fight to feed his grandchildren for Thanksgiving!!!
At least Joppy, to his credit, took him out in one.
Doesn't quite prove he's ready for another world title fight...
I was at the fight and Joppy looked very good. His hands were up and he was throwing good shots. I think one more tune up fight then he should shoot for his 4th world title.
I think at that weight Joppy is going to very well. He will win his 4th title.
