Collins Loses in Wildwood, NJ!

Bel Air, MD super middleweight Nick "Flash" Collins was stopped in the first round by undefeated Patrick Majewski of Atlantic City, NJ during a card in Wildwood, NJ last night.

According to Kurt Wolfheimer of Fightnews.com, Majewski was in control right from the opening bell, using combinations upstairs. Collins began to cover up, which allowed Majewski to connect with a perfect liver shot that forced Collins to the canvas.

He was unable to recover, as referee Alan Huggins reached the ten count at 1.48 of the opening round.

The loss evens Collins's record at 4-4 with all four wins by knockout. All four of Collins's losses have also been by knockout as he has been defeated by boxers who were undefeated at the time Collins faced them. Majewski is now 6-0, four KO's.
