'Chop Chop' Back in Action November 30!

Former WBO Junior Welterweight champion DeMarcus "Chop Chop" Corley will be back in action on Friday, November 30 as he headlines the "Ballroom Brawl" at the Tampa Westshore Doubletree Hotel in Tampa, FL. The DC native Corley (31-6-1, 17 KO's) will be fighting for the first time since being stopped in the 8th round against Jose Alfaro on May 12 in Managua, Nicaragua.

Corley, who unsuccessfully challenged Junior Witter for the IBF Junior Welterweight title in September of 2006, is still awaiting word on his opponent for the November 30th bout.

What the people who are running the Silver Gloves need to do is to send me information about the event. I can't publicize anything if I don't have the information.

Do anyone Remember when chop faught Fernando Vargas back in 1996 in the Trials? I tell you they were at there best both started there professional careers around the same time.I must mention both of whom are at the ends of great career. I would like to see these guy's square off one more time.....

I know there in diffrent weight classes it's just one of those fights you'll never see.I felt the need to explain we have some tough critics here on the Beltway.

Chop did not fight Vargas in the trials it was Gary Jones that lost a close decision.
