This story was actually in yesterday's print editions of the Baltimore Sun, but reporter Stefan Lovelace has a nice interview with 16-year-old amateur boxing champion Nick Kisner.

I watched this kid as he took whipping after whipping as a little guy. I even started thinking that maybe this sport isn't for him, but he hung in there and now defines what perservereance and mental streagth is all about. Not only has he risen to top of the Juniors, he is probably as knowlegable about the sport of boxing as any adult. Nick Kishner is 8 -24 but he was robbed so many times it is unreal. The kid can fight very well.He just turned 17 a few months ago and can beat any super heavy weight out there right now. He is the best open class heavy weight in the USA right now.

Yes, he is just 17 years old, but he is outsmarting everyone by getting everyone going. Ali did the same thing, people would pay to see him win and people would pay to see him loose. Jake will give this boy a thick stack of tickets and they will sell like hotcakes thanks to all the meaningless crap that has been said on this topic.
