DC super middleweight Demetrius Davis will try to break his recent three-bout losing streak when he takes on Omar "Pit Bull" Pittman of Philadelphia, PA in a six-round rematch on Friday, October 5 at the New Alhambra in Philadelphia.
The last time these two met was on May 31 at Michael's Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie, MD. Pittman won a six-round split decision. Since that bout, Davis (17-13-4, seven KO's) lost a six-round unanimous decision to James Countryman on August 31 in Detroit, MI. Pittman (14-3-1, eight KO's) has not fought since the first contest between the two men.
The card is slated to be videotaped for a future showing on Comcast's CN8 channel, a channel that can be seen in Prince George's County and other parts of the area.
