The Beltway had more representation at the recent US Olympic Trials than the participants and their coaches. One of our own referees was involved in the event as well.
Brent Bovell of Waldorf, MD was invited to referee bouts at the trials in Houston. Earlier in the year, Bovell was named the Outstanding Referee at the 2007 US Championships in Colorado Springs.

Gary, have you heard any news about Nick Collins? He was to fight at Arizona tonight.
I am trying to find a result. The card was on tv and so far, only the results of the televised bouts have been posted.
