The 14th season of Ballroom Boxing at Michael's Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie, MD begins on Thursday, Sept. 27.
One bout has already been signed for this contest. Riverdale, MD heavyweight Horace "The Reason" Grant will battle "The People's Champion" Jonathan Felton of Stafford, VA in a six-round contest.
Grant (7-1, five KO's) has won six in a row since his October 2006 loss to Phill Brown. Grant scored a second-round over George Jacobs on August 25 at Lee High School in Springfield, VA.
Felton (5-9, five KO's) is coming off a four-round unanimous decision loss to Kevin Hood on July 13 in Hockessin, DE. The loss broke a two-fight winning streak for Felton.
Another bout slated for this card is a six-round light heavyweight contest between Baltimore's Willie "For Real" Williams and Takoma Park's Willis Lockett.
Williams (6-1, two KO's) is riding a five-bout winning streak but has not fought since his six-round majority decision victory over Deandre McCole in Erie, PA last November.
Lockett (8-4-4, three KO's) is coming off a third-round TKO over Calvin Riley on the August 25 Springfield show. The bout was Lockett's first since February of 2006.
Other Beltway Boxers scheduled to appear on the Ballroom Boxing card are Ernest "Zeus" Mazyck, Danny Kisner, Alexander Johnson and Thomas "KO" Snow.

Snow is the best fighter from DC,MD or VA. He will fight anybody from feather weight to middle weight. F_ck you all!
Don't let them get you down, Snow. Just do your thing. You don't even need to provoke them -- just let your hands do the talking for awhile.
Chris Middendorf makes good competitive matches, he always had been and I would think he will do the same for Thomas Snow. I think it will be a good show. Ray Grant and Felton is very good match up. Willie Williams and Willis Lockett will be fight of the night. Han Kim-

Snow's past nine opponents have a combined record of 5 wins and 16 losses... which isn't so bad, until you notice that FIVE of his opponents were pro debuts!!! he he he he he...
But I must admit Snow has stepped up his comp recently... his last two opponents had two wins each scattered in amongst their combined seventeen fights!!!
When Snow gets his big opportunity, he's gonna be s-o-o-o-o unprepared for a real fight. But then again, by the way he's approaching the fight game, it doesn't look like he truly believes in himself anyway.

I will have the opponent for Snow in the next couple of days and he will be a step up from his last fight. At 9-0, whether he has fought King Kong or Delilah, at his weight, Snow is very tough to match up. As a matter of fact it is extremely difficult to find quality opponents for him in this area as there are so few lighter weight guys fighting anywhere on the east coast.
After being off for almost a year, he fought last month and will fight this month. He is also scheduled to fight in October as well. He certainly has the skills to step up and fight some very good fighters at his weight, but as one of the astute critics has already mentioned he needs to get some more experience. To his fans and his detractors, he will get in some of those fights soon, and when he is ready, I will make sure that he gets an opportunity to really step up on national tv. At that point he will hopefully be ready to move to the next level. But at 9-0 with that sort of future, would any of you as manager of a quality fighter, put him in with a killer for a few hundred bucks or even for a few thousand bucks on a local card?
And furthermore, whether it is Snow or anybody that is being developed, you want to get them prepared as best you can so that when they step up, they win. So watch his next couple of fights, see how he is developing, and then lets see what happens. At that point it will be up to him.
Sorry to disappoint you, but any last minute opponent for T. Snow will be an acceptable opponent to everyone from his team. And as far as I am concerned when Snow fights a meaningful fight, it will be with enough notice so that we can promote the fight and get all of the Snow fans and haters to come out and buy some tickets.
And in terms of a meaningful fight for Thomas, there have already be calls for a couple of those fights and against guys who are at his same level. So you won't have to wait long to see him in that type of fight. So buy your ticket now and see him in person, its much more fun then watching him on television!

didn't Snow pulled out on Chris before, will he pull out again this time? My uess is Thomas Snow screws Chris first.
Chris is just trying to do his job.Make good fights thats what Chris do.He don't care who win he get paid by the promoter not the fighter.So when a guy around here get his ass beat your blame it on Chris get real.But when they fight some bums your blame that on Chris as well.Chris keep up the good work.Snow was fighting from 122 to 130 I beat you he wont fight Conney Bowman that white boy will beat his ass what about that Snow and Chris.Now put your money where you mounth is. You walk a fine line in boxing. You don't put two guys like Bowman & Snow in together this early in their careers. If you win the fights you're supposed to win, you're fighting bums. If you step it up too early and get cracked, well then you stepped it up too early and who the hell let you take that fight. Matchmakers and managers have a hard job to say the least.
If Snow fights a decent opponent type and comes away with a good showing, I'll be the first to represent...
But as long as HE CHOOSES these hapless bums... then we'll gladly continue making him the butt of many jokes...

I agree with the last post.He need to fight somebody who can fight a lil bit.He can fight that kid Bowmen just like that last person said.I seen him at the race track he can fight.I would love to see that fight for Snow blt that he brought from the Lincoln Theater.Thomas will get Koed Snow.
