Farmer Wins, Palma Captures Virginia Title!

In the main event of the Left Hook Boxing card at the Winchester Sportsplex in Winchester, VA, Front Royal, VA lightweight Andrew "The Doo Man" Farmer scored a technical knockout at the beginning of the fourth round when his opponent, the debuting Marcos Antonio Soto of Virginia Beach, VA could not answer the bell for the fourth due to a hurt shoulder.

Farmer is now 7-1, six KO's.

In the co-feature, Alexandria, VA lightweight Jaime "The Punisher" Palma won the vacant Virginia State Lightweight title when his opponent, Norfolk, VA's Artie "Bam Bam" Bembury, could not come out for the fifth round, also with a bad arm injury.

The victory was Palma's fifth in a row and raises his record to 12-10-1, three KO's. Bembury's record evens at 2-2. Bembury was a late sub for Calvin "Peko" Faggins who tore his rotator cuff in training.

In other bouts on the card:

Charlottsville, VA middleweight "War Time" George Rivera won a four-round unanimous decision over Montez Wilson of Camden, NJ. Rivera is 3-1, two KO's. Wilson is 0-10.

Fairfax, VA junior welterweight Todd "White Lightning" Wilson won a four-round unanimous decision over a very game Henry Goss of Charleston, WVA. Wilson is 2-0, one KO while Goss, who took the bout on very short notice, falls to 1-2-1, one KO.

Terry "T-Brick" Roy dropped from heavyweight to cruiserweight and stopped the debuting Joe Haggler of Woodbridge, VA at 1:54 of the fourth round. Roy, the self-professed "King of Front Royal" remains undefeated at 5-0-1, four KO's.

Woodbridge featherweight Andre "Clockwork" Nichols returned after an almost year-long absence and scored a second-round TKO over the winless Anthony Whigham of Massachusetts. Nichols stopped Whigham at 1:13 of the second round. Nichols is 2-1, one KO while Whigham is 0-7.

Charles "Murdock" Norwood of Roanoke, VA won a four-round unanimous decision over Anthony "Mr." Young of Johnson City, TN. Norwood, who was born in DC, is now 2-1, one KO while Young is 4-2, three KO's.

The opponent for Front Royal's Warren "The Mack" Clatterbuck did not past medical tests.

clatterbuck's next fight? This guy is too scared to step in the ring with anyone who "might have a CHANCE of damaging his enormous ego!!!" He's a coward and what he said about Terry "T-Brick" Roy was wrong and very selfish and self centered! Terry's title was and STILL is "The King of Front Royal", Not the big armed, glass jawed Clatterbuck coward! Go back to ToughMan Contests! maybe there YOU WILL ACTUALLY AGREE to fight someone who will fight back!!! Great show Mr. Farmer, but get rid of this guy!!!!

Leave a time and a place jerk!

Tell your wife and my kid I said hello.

Sincerely,

Clatterbuck

Terry Roy is a complete BUM and he has no business in boxing.

Let Scott Farmer continue to bring in all those bums and then eventually we will see Roy get destroyed and KO'd like his skinny son.

Shut up Han kim. You hve the worst shows in the area especially when you fight.

Maybe you and Scott Farmer should fight each other. A Has-been against a glass jaw want. Should make for a short fight either way.

Han Kim's shows are pretty bad and Farmer's aren't much better. Although this past show was a good show, maybe Farmer is finally learning. Kim still has to pick up the pace and promote better cards.

All the negative comments on this
blog about the local promoters
Jake Smith,Han Kim,and Scott Farmer
lets everyone know that they are
doing somthing right.
I'm sure they appreciate the incintive.
Your own life must be miserable and boring if you have nothing but
negative things to say about others.

...well I don't think Terry is a very good fighter but he was in a legitimate fight this time. Joe was just inexperienced. Had Joe Haggler conserved his energy, Terry might have been looking at an 'L'. Terry hung in there and got the 'W'. You have to give him that.

I've seen Terry Roy fight three times now and each fight has been an action packed war! He's a very fan friendly fighter!

No one who gets in the ring to fight another man is a coward.

Whether its in Tough Man, Amatuers, Professional, or even just sparring, it takes a lot of guts to do it.

Anyone who thinks any fighter is a coward should step in the ring with them and see what it takes to do it.
