Smithburg, MD's Dean "Pitbull" White lost a tough six-round majority decision to Verquan Kimbrough tonight on national television from Chester, West Virginia. The scores were 57-57, and 58-56 (twice).
I just wanted to post this quick result. I will add more comments to this post tomorrow. I have a lot to say about this.

You know something? I thought Dean White won that fight pretty easily, at least 4 rounds to 2. Even the hometown crowd booed the decision. How about the announce crew for Versus? They're terrible, particularly Wally Matthews. I think that anyone that watched the fight objectively knows Dean won that fight. Keep your head up Dean, you won that fight!
did any body just see how bad dean got ripped off? he easily won the fight.the commentators,ref, the judges, they all sucked.
Dean won that fight, hands down. Sure, I was rooting for him but he won it going away.
Well...I admittedly didn't watch it 'ultra closely', but I had it a 3-3 draw. But like I said, that scorecard was by no means 'set in stone' or 'written in permanent ink'. (Incidentally I'm from The West Coast and don't know either personally or have any type of connection to them.)

Dean was robbed
I thought that Dean lost the first 2 rounds,won the 3rd and 4th,lost the 5th and then won the 6th round big.I am big Dean White fan and I think he got robbed of a draw.When you fight the "local favorite" you have to knock them out or put some 10-8 rounds in the bank.Dean also comes on strong later,if he had 8 rounds he would have won.He damn near knocked the guy out in the 6th.I also agree that the commentators did not know these guys and did a poor job of calling the fight.
Dean White got screwed! There is absolutely no way Kimbrough won more than one or two rounds. That's a darn shame.
If anyone missed it like me, it will be retelevised on Versus FRIDAY

I was at that fight and I watched it very closely. DEAN WHITE LOST THAT FIGHT!!!! I do not understand what you are all crying about. Dean White lost!
Dean white that's what happens in boxing. Just keep your head up and keep going. People all around the world saw that you are a force to wreckin with.
that guy is not pretending to be anyone else. I work with him on a daily basis. His name is Lionel W. Greenmill and I have known him for 12 years now. We work at the auto parts store. So, Jenny who ever you are, you need to wake up and start minding your own business.
