This TV reminder for Beltway Boxing fans living in Prince George's County: I will be a guest of the legendary Bill McCaffrey on the long-running cable show "Inside Sports" this Friday. The show can only be seen on Prince George's Community Television, channel 76 at 5 and 6:30 pm.
We'll be talking about the February 17 boxing card at Suitland High School as well as other local boxing news. One or more of the boxers that will be on the February 17 card will be on the program with me.
That is so cool!!! Can you tape it and put it on here as a Gabcast? Or better yet...get with the times and start some YouTube :) I have DirectTV and don't have access to the community channels. R-E-P-R-E-S-E-N-T!
ReplyDeleteHey, excellent idea from Linda!
ReplyDelete* However, I fear that 'Digital' - despite his moniker - is a tad bit 'digitally-challenged'! LOL! (He may need some assistance on that one!)
...I would like to play John Stockton to his Karl Malone in that regard -- but I fear I'm the same way!
ReplyDeleteLOL! Well I will be glad to supply the still footage!
ReplyDeleteHehehe......Just call it "still Digital"...;-)
ReplyDelete* Hey, look on the bright side: He'd still look faster than Nicolay Valuev does in full motion! LOL...
I am digital in mind only, not in technology! LOL
ReplyDeleteTranslation: When one tries to tackle the other -- just plain too much 'digital circuitry' going on, and things start shorting-out! (LOL)
ReplyDeleteHey Gary, are we going to get a post-fight interview(s) with Thompson & then Wilson? Things looking up for the beltway boxers in 2007. If T.T wins, he SHOULD be in line for a fight against a top-contender or one of the titlists soon. Same for Wilson. Or at the very least possibly a 'mega local fight' with Nwodo. (* Hey...How about an interview with him, eh?)
Have a good wknd all...
*BB*
BTW - Linda, what is your website address? (I believe you do have one...)
ReplyDeleteThanks,

I definitely plan to talk to both Thompson and Wilson after their bouts.
ReplyDeleteAs far as Nwodo-Wilson, you heard what Wilson said about that in our last interview. I have talked to Nwodo about this also. Nwodo is waiting for the winner of the rematch between Steve Cunningham and Kristof Wlordacyzk. If Cunningham wins, there is a good possibility that Nwodo will get the next shot.
So I don't think Wilson is in Nwodo's plans anytime soon.
Thanks Linda. (And agreed Gary.)
