First off Digital, nice seeing you again lest night. Now, my comments:

ROBLES VS. SHEEHAN: Robles DOMINATED; what was with Sheehan tonight? He looked out of it..

LACRETE VS. BAILEY: Good fight; I did indeed have LaCrete winning.

PALMA VS. SANDERS: Good fight that could've gone either way.

FARMER VS. HUMPHREY: I had it 38-37 Humphrey (w/o that knockdown, it would've been a draw IMO).

PULTZ VS. CUTCHIN: I did think Boone won, as he was more aggressive, but to be brutally honest, in the 5 cards I've seen live (the 4 Patriot Center ones and the July ABC show), this is either the worst or the second worst fight I've seen (the Attah-Granados fight in Feb. maybe taking the honor). This was terrible.

FLAIM VS. WATTS: Umm, yeah. Actually, for Flaim's first ever fight, IMO he wasn't too bad.

WHITE VS. SPIVEY: Match of the night, IMO match of the year, and possibly the best match I've seen (a LOT better than Spivey's fight a few months ago here). These two went at each other from the beginning, landed some good punches, and never went down. I would've been satisfied w/ a draw. Digital, how did you score this? Hey Joe, how about the rubber match?

MAIN EVENT: Lange looked a bit out of it to me, and I was a bit bored at the beginning, but came back in the last rounds. This could've also gone either way, but a draw for a title match is disappointing. Could these two have a rematch for the title next Patriot Center show?

Great seeing you again as well, ACW.

Don't have any argument with your comments. I had White winning the bout against Spivey.

By the way, you have grown substantially as a boxing fan as shown by your comments here. Great job!

Thanks for the compliment! I guess there's no better teacher than seeing it live, huh?

Good observation, Brad, about Jimmy's cut man. I'd agree that Jimmy Glenn was the unsung hero of the evening. Jimmy Glenn came on board after Al Gavin passed away, and Glenn earned his money for sure last night. I had the pleasure of interviewing Jimmy Lange before the fight for the program and asked him about that specifically. I'm just hoping I didn't jinx him. He had some interesting comments that I've copied below:

You’ve had two first-class cut men in your corner, but you’re not a bleeder, are you?

Thank goodness not yet, but that’s a common misnomer. You see, the very best cut men aren’t there just to treat cuts, they are there to prevent them. What might look like a minor scratch or bruise to you or me might in fact be a major cut that’s about to burst open and could halt the fight. In terms of observational skill and preventative treatment, I’ll put the talents of a top cut man against the most highly regarded surgeon any day.

There's no dought that the Dean White's fight was the fight of the night, or for the year for that matter, but I don't see a rematch with Spivey , Dean has a title match of some sort. I mean if Jimmy lang can fight for a title why not Dean ?
