The opponent for DC junior welterweight Lamont Peterson's April 28th appearance on ShoBox has changed. The undefeated Peterson (16-0, seven KO's) will now face Mario Jose "Kid Rayo" Ramos (16-2-1,three KO's)of Phoenix, AZ on this televised card from New Town, North Dakota.
Ramos was riding an 11-bout winning streak before he lost his last contest, a 12-round unanimous decision to Demetrius Hopkins for the USBA Light Welterweight title on March 3 in Philadelphia, PA. By the way, one of the judges for that bout was our very own referee/judge Kenny Chevalier.
Anthony Peterson's opponent for this card remains the same. Anthony Peterson (16-0, 13 KO's) will face Jermaine White (12-0, seven KO's).
