Three Beltway Boxers Added To South Carolina Card!

The number of Beltway Boxers that are scheduled to compete on a card at the Thomas Gymnastics Training Center in Rock Hill, SC has increased to four.

We already told you about Baltimore, MD super middleweight Jessie "The Beast" Nicklow's appearance in a six-round bout against Juan Celin Zapata of the Bronx, NY.  Now comes word that three other locals will join him.

Baltimore, MD super featherweight Malik "King" Warren will be in his first six-round contest when he faces Cameron Cain of Jeffersonville, IN.  Warren (4-0, four KO's) comes off a first-round TKO over Dreon Meriwether on February 20th in Greenville, SC.  Cain (1-12) broke a 12-bout losing streak by winning a four-round unanimous decision over John Pitts on March 6th in Louisville, KY.

Oxon Hill, MD welterweight Akeem "Action Action" Jackson makes a quick return to action when he faces Tjuan Wooten of Wilson, NC.  Jackson (3-2, three KO's) just fought on March 26th and scored a first-round KO over Juhvari Artis in Rock Hill.  All three Jackson knockouts have come in the first round.  Wooten (0-2) has yet to get out of the first round.

Also, Lanham, MD light heavyweight Aaron "The Wolf" Thorne III returns to action in a four-rounder against an opponent to be determined.  Thorne (2-0, one KO) has not fought since September of 2020 when he won a four-round unanimous decision over Therran Smalls in Rock Hill.
