Two Beltway Boxers were victorious on a card at the Hilton Garden Inn in Rock Hill, SC on Saturday, September 26th.
Lanham, MD light heavyweight Aaron "The Wolf" Thorne III won a four-round unanimous decision over Therran Smalls of Charleston, SC by way of Harlem, NY. Thorne competed for the first time since he scored a first-round TKO over William Davis in Vienna, VA in December of 2019 and he is now 2-0, one KO. Smalls remains winless at 0-7 but all of his bouts have been against either debuting boxers or boxers with winning records.
Dundalk, MD lightweight "The Educated Boxer" Dorian Bostic scored a second-round TKO over the debuting Juwan Jones of South Carolina. Bostic, a native of Cheraw, SC, only needed 10 seconds to secure the win. Bostic is now 3-0, three KO's.
Another local prospect, welterweight Akeem "Action" Jackson of Oxon Hill, MD (1-1, one KO), was slated to compete on this card but his bout was scratched due to time constraints on the card.
