Colby "Mad Dog" Madison lost an eight-round unanimous decision to Robert Simms of Saginaw, MI Saturday at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA.
According to ringside photographer
Daniel Cork, the bout was a hard-hitting affair. Madison landed some heavy blows in the bout, including bloodying Simms's nose in the seventh round. However, Madison suffered swelling around the left eye two rounds earlier. the judges gave the bout to Simms by scores of 80-72 (twice) and 79-73.
Madison suffers his first pro loss and he is now 8-1-2, five KO's. Simms raises his record to 9-3, three KO's.
