Two more Beltway Boxers have been added to the Saturday, January 26th card at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Landover, MD welterweight Tyrek "I.G.B." Irby will be in a four-round bout against Jonathan Figueroa of Hartford, CT. Irby (5-0, two KO's) comes off a four-round unanimous decision over Lamont White on September 22nd in Bowie, MD. Figueroa (2-1, one KO) looks to bounce back from suffering his first pro loss -- a four-round unanimous decision defeat he suffered back in April of 2017 to Miguel Ortiz in Lincoln, RI.
Clarksburg, MD middleweight Mark "Sayless" Duncan makes his second straight visit to Barclays Center for a four-round encounter with Daniel Garcia-Flores of Albuquerque, NM. Duncan (2-0, two KO's) scored a first-round TKO over Ray Cervera on December 22. Garcia-Flores (0-2) dropped a four-round unanimous decision to Emmanuel Guajardo on November 17th in Tucson, AZ.
Irby and Duncan join the Russell Brothers -- Antonio and Antuanne -- on this card which is headlined by Keith Thurman's WBA Welterweight title defense against Josesito Lopez.
