There are a couple of interesting bouts that are scheduled for the Shabazz Brotherz card on Saturday, December 8th at the Bowie State University AC Jordan Arena in Bowie, MD.
One of the contests is a bout pitting two Beltway rising super lightweight prospects. Undefeated Bowie resident and Bowie State graduate Greg "Sharpshooter" Outlaw will battle Baltimore, MD's Mack "Papi" Allison IV. No word yet on how many rounds this bout is scheduled for.
Outlaw (6-0, two KO's) headlined the last card at Bowie State on September 22nd and won a six-round unanimous decision over Rashad Bogar. Allison (8-1-1, seven KO's) bounced back from his first pro loss and won a six-round unanimous decision over Rynell Griffin on August 4th in Sterling, VA.
Also scheduled for the card will be a cruiserweight battle as Bowie's Luther "Lights Out" Smith takes on Joshua Temple of St. Louis, MO. Both men are coming off losses. Smith (10-4, nine KO's) has lost two straight and three of his last four. In his last outing, Smith was knocked out in the first round by Alexey Egorov on June 2nd in Atlantic City, NJ. Temple (7-1, six KO's) will try to bounce back from his first pro loss suffered on October 6th when he lost a six-round split decision to Khetag Pliev in Louisville, KY.
