Baltimore, MD cruiserweight "Slick" Nick Kisner won a 10-round majority decision over Bedford, VA's Scott "Cujo" Sigmon Saturday at the Hollywood Casino in Columbus, OH.
Kisner used quick hands to land shots from distance at times throughout the bout. Sigmon had his moments inside but Kisner was able to land good uppercuts and right hands in the contest.
Judge Brian Kennedy gave Sigmon credit for his work inside and scored the bout a draw at 95-95. However, Kennedy was overruled by Scott Maddox who scored the bout 99-91 and Jamie Garula who saw the bout 96-94 for Kisner, whose record is now 21-4-1, six KO's. Sigmon's record falls to 32-13-1, 16 KO's.
