Ashburn, VA middleweight Tori "Sho Nuff" Nelson lost by 10-round unanimous decision to undefeated Christina "Lady" Hammer of Dortmund, Germany Friday evening at the Masonic Temple in Detroit, MI.  The bout was televised by Showtime. With the victory, Hammer regains her WBC and WBO Middleweight championships.

Hammer used an outstanding left jab and followed up with a solid right hand to keep Nelson at bay.  As usual, Nelson showed her toughness throughout the contest and was in no danger of being knocked down but she could not get inside Hammer's long reach.  The battle moved along at the same pace throughout the 10 rounds.  Hammer won by scores of 100-90 and 99-91 twice.  Nelson's record is now 17-2-3, two KO's while Hammer is now 23-0, 10 KO's.
