Undefeated Baltimore, MD welterweight Malik "Iceman" Hawkins has the biggest bout of his career to date when he takes on Raymond "Tito" Serrano of Philadelphia, PA on Friday, March 30th at the Fillmore in Philadelphia. The two boxers will battle for the vacant NABA-USA Welterweight title.
Hawkins, the 2017 Beltway Boxing Prospect Of The Year (12-0, nine KO's) is coming off back-to-back stoppages in his last two outings. This includes a seventh-round stoppage over Juan Jesus Rivera on November 4th in Ashburn, VA. Serrano (24-4, 10 KO's) has won his last three bouts including an eighth-round disqualification victory over Enver Halili on November 18th in Atlantic City, NJ. One of Serrano's four losses came against Beltway Boxer Emmanuel Taylor who stopped Serrano in the sixth round in Huntington, NY in January of 2013.
