Isley, Davis Travel To Bulgaria For International Tournament!

Recently, BATB mentioned that Alexandria, VA amateur boxer Troy Isley will be in three dual events against Ireland in March.  However, Isley has even more business to attend to this coming week.

Isley, a member of the USA Boxing Elite High Performance Squad, is now in Sofia, Bulgaria for the Strandja Tournament.  Isley has had international experience as he won a bronze medal at the 2017 World Championships in Hamburg, Germany in September.

Isley will have familiar company on this voyage.  Alexandria teammate Keyshawn Davis will make his international debut in this tournament.  Davis, who won a National Golden Gloves championship in May of 2017, makes his first trip as a member of the USA Elite team.

The Strandja Tournament takes place from February 18-26.  The team is made up of six male and six female boxers.
