Amateur Card In Glen Burnie Honors Cancer Patient, Baltimore Boxing Great!

Baltimore Boxing Club will have another amateur card that will take place on Thursday, November 10 at Michael's Eighth Avenue in Glen Burnie, MD.

The card will raise money for the medical bills for eight-year-old Nicholas Tasker, who is battling a rare form of abdominal cancer.  The Tasker family resold the tickets and kept 100% of the money to help offset his medical bills. To further assist on fight night, Baltimore Boxing is hosting a 50/50 raffle and silent auction.

The card also honors the memory of the late Baltimore heavyweight "The American Dream" Mike Dietrich, who passed away in March of 2010 suddenly at the age of 26.  Tasker will receive the Mike Dietrich American Dream Award from Baltimore Boxing’s Steve Wheeler.

Headlining the card is a heavyweight title match between Baltimore-area heavyweights “Dangerous” Dallas Butts and Brian “Bam Bam” Haneschlager. The two previously met in an intense match, with Butts taking a competitive decision.  Tickets begin at $25 for the event.
