One other note from the Regionals:  Apparently someone walked off with the Golden Gloves Championship logo banner. They would like to have it returned.  Here is a statement from the Washington Golden Gloves organization:

“At the Washington Golden Gloves Regional Championships on Saturday night, April 30, at Rosecroft Raceway, the Washington, DC Golden Gloves banner, which was hung just outside the room for the DC/Maryland boxers, was taken.  If anyone knows of its whereabouts, it would be very much appreciated if it was returned to the main office at Rosecroft, no questions asked.  This banner represents all of the Golden Gloves boxers from the DC/Maryland region and they and their families are proud to use it as the backdrop for photo opportunities at the championship finals.  It means so much to so many, and it is hung so that everyone (boxers, coaches, parents, siblings and friends) might get use from it. Thank you in advance for doing the right thing!”
