Thomas "Top Dog" Williams scored the biggest win of his career tonight in Carson, CA as he registered a devastating second-round knockout of Edwin "La Bomba" Rodriguez at the StubHub Center.
The two went toe-to-toe on the Fox Network before Williams landed a crushing left that sent Rodriguez to the canvas. The bout was stopped at 2:59 of the second.
With the win, Williams is now 20-1, 14 KO's while Rodriguez falls to 28-2, 19 KO's.
Also on the card, Phil Jackson Benson was stopped in the second round by undefeated David Benavidez at 2:07. Jackson Benson is now 16-3, 15 KO's and Benavidez remains undefeated at 14-0, 13 KO's.
