Lots of scale watches for this weekend's contests in three locations.
At the Foxwoods in Mashantucket, CT, Gary Russell, Jr. tipped the scales at 126 pounds for his WBC Featherweight title defense against Patrick Hyland, who also weighed 126. . The bout will headline the Showtime Championship Boxing telecast at 11 PM ET.
On the non-televised undercard, Antonio Russell weighed 118 pounds for his six-round bout against Alberto Serna who came in at 117.
At the D Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV, Malik Hawkins weighed in at 146 pounds for his six-round contest against Errol Sidney, who came in at a very light 134 pounds. This bout will open the CBS Sports Network telecast at 11 PM ET.
Meanwhile in Monterrey, Mexico, DeMarcus Corley came in at 133 1/2 pounds for his six-round contest against Adrian Estrella for the WBC International lightweight title. Foster weighed 134.
