Former world champion DeMarcus “Chop-Chop” Corley (44-26-1, 26 KOs) says WBC #10 lightweight Adrián “Diamante“ Estrella (25-1, 23 KOs) made a big mistake in selecting him as an opponent this Saturday, April 16 at the Gimnasio Nuevo León Unido in Monterrey, Mexico.
“I think the style of Estrella helps greatly for me to come out victorious,” said Corley in a press release. “He’s a very static fighter who has power but doesn’t move much and that’s where my skill and footwork will help me win this fight and beat a world ranked contender helping me get back to the top.
“I’m an impossible test for the Mexican. He doesn’t have what it takes to defeat me because I dare say he won’t even land a blow and he’ll finally despair and give up.”
"He made a big mistake"???.... wow thats messed up...SMH
ReplyDeleteIm an aspiring Country Music artist or European descent and new to the DMV area. The DMV area is nationally known for their lack of support for their artists and athletes. On top of that its even worse for the african-american artists and athletes. Being married to an African-American woman for the past 6 years has taught me alot about how much African-Americans as a whole practice self hate
