Here are some results of recent bouts for Beltway Boxers on the East Coast.
First, a little catch-up: When we listed the results of Beltway Boxers participating on the Ponytail Promotions/Sho Nuff Promotions card on March 5 at the Masonic Temple in Norfolk, VA, we neglected to mention the pro debut victory for Capitol Heights, MD super bantamweight James Early. Early won a four-round unanimous decision over Arthur Parker of Lancaster, PA. Parker is 1-16-2, one KO.
On March 11th at the Serbian American Cultural Center in Weirton, WVA, cruiserweight "Slick" Nick Kisner of Baltimore, MD scored a fourth-round TKO over James Jones of Nashville, TN. This was Kisner's first bout since his 10-round unanimous decision loss to Lateef Kayode in May of 2015 in Memphis, TN. Kisner is now 15-2-1, six KO's. Jones falls to 1-8.
Tonight at the Sheraton Hotel in Roanoke, VA, undefeated Frederick, MD super middleweight Devar "Jengawar" Ferhadi continued his winning ways with a first-round knockout over Travis Davidson of Richmond, VA. According to reports, Ferhadi dropped Davidson twice with solid body shots before forcing the referee to stop the contest at 2:12 of the first. Ferhadi is now 6-0, five KO's while Davidson drops to 2-10, two KO's.
