First Beltway Card Of 2016 Is January 16 In Springfield!

Beltway Boxing 2016 already has a starting date.  The first local pro card of the new year will take place on Saturday, January 16 at the ABC Sports Complex in Springfield, VA.  

Scheduled to appear on the Jeter Promotions card are newly crowned IBA Intercontinental Super Welterweight champion Gerome "GQ" Quigley of Gaithersburg, MD as well as local undefeated boxers Cobia "Soldier" Breedy of Clinton, MD (4-0, three KO's), Drayvontay Speed Rawls of Glenarden, MD (4-0, two KO's),  Edgar "The Tiger" Torres of Springfield (7-0-1, four KO's), Francisco Bustos of Rockville, MD (2-0, one KO) and Mike "Silverback" Balogun of Upper Marlboro, MD (5-0, four KO's).

Also appearing on the card is Glassboro, NJ heavyweight Brendan "The Beast" Barrett (2-0-1, two KO's).

More on this card as it develops.  Jeter Promotions's normal promotion partner RBA Promotions will not be a part of this event because Dr. Richard Ashby will be attending a medical conference in Cuba.
