A number of local boxers have been added to the undercards that feature other prominent Beltway Boxers this weekend.
On the Friday, November 13 card at the Beau Rivage Resort and Casino in Biloxi, MS that features Thomas Williams battling Umberto Savigne on Spike TV, undefeated Forestville, MD super welterweight Alantez "SlyAza" Fox will take on Todd Manuel of Rayne, LA in an eight-round contest. Fox (17-0-1, six KO's) is coming off a fifth-round disqualification win over Eric Mitchell on October 17 in Fairfax, VA. Manuel (10-9-1, one KO) will be trying to break a five-bout losing streak.
Also on the card, Fernando Guerrero will be in a 10-round contest against Daniel Souza Santos of Sao Paulo, Brazil. Guerrero (27-3, 19 KO's) will try to build off of his 10-round split decision victory over Abraham Han on April 18 in Carson, CA. Santos (14-8, 11 KO's) broke a three-bout losing streak with a second-round TKO over Ricardo Teixeira Junior on October 3 in Sao Paulo. This is the first trip to the US for Santos.
On the Saturday, November 14 card at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, NV, another Beltway Boxer will be shown on television along with Jarrett Hurd's bout against Frank Galarza. Baltimore veteran middleweight Jessie "The Beast" Nicklow will battle Sergiy Derevyanchenko of Brooklyn, NY in an eight-round contest. Nicklow (25-7-3, eight KO's) Nicklow snapped a four-bout losing streak with an eight-round unanimous decision victory over Raymond Terry on October 10 in Greensboro, NC. This will be Nicklow's second appearance on national television this year.
Derevyanchenko, a native of Russia (6-0, four KO's) last fought on August 7 and won an eight-round unanimous decision over former world title contender Elvin Ayala in Atlantic City, NJ.
