October 17 Update -- Grayton, Martin Opponents Change; Bouts Signed For A. Peterson; A. Fox!

The Saturday, October 17 DiBella Entertainment/Headbangers Promotions card at the Eagle Bank Arena in Fairfax, VA looks to be complete.

There are a couple of adjustments to the card.  David "Day-Day" Grayton will have a new opponent in Martin Wright of Brooklyn, NY for his scheduled eight-round contest.  Wright (11-1-2, five KO's) has not fought since winning a 10-round unanimous decision over Mike Ruiz in September of 2011 in Woodhaven, NY.

Grayton's originally-scheduled opponent, Christopher Degollado of Monterrey, Mexico (13-5, 11 KO's), will now face undefeated DC welterweight Kareem "Reemo" Martin in a six-round contest.  Martin (6-0-1, three KO's) will compete for the second straight time in the Beltway region after five road contest.  Martin is coming off a six-round unanimous decision over Anthony Prescott on August 28 at the Washington Convention Center.

Another bout signed for the card features DC lightweight Anthony Peterson who will battle veteran Mike "Machine" Oliver of Hartford, CT in a 10-round bout.  Peterson (35-1, 23 KO's) stopped Rameses Gil in the sixth round in his last outing on July 11 in Tampa, FL.  Oliver (26-6-1, eight KO's) will look to bounce back after losing by fifth-round TKO to Jonathan Arrellano on August 16 in Mashantucket, CT.

Also, undefeated Forestville, MD super welterweight Alantez "SlyAza" Fox will take on another veteran in Eric "Murder" Mitchell of Vero Beach, FL by way of Philadelphia, PA in an eight-round encounter.  Fox (16-0-1, six KO's) scored a first-round knockout over Guillermo Valdes on July 18 at the Sphinx Club in Washington, DC.   The 46-year-old Mitchell (23-12-2, 11 KO's) will face a Beltway Boxer for the second straight time.  Mitchell was stopped in the third round by Jarrett Hurd on April 18 in Valley Forge, PA.

One other bout is scheduled for the card -- Winter Haven, FL lightweight Tommy Logan (3-1, three KO's) will be in a four-round bout against Canton Miller of St. Louis, MO (1-0, one KO).
