Jeter Bout Bumped To Main Event October 24 In Sheffield, England!

In a situation that is becoming more and more ironic by the day, the Saturday, October 24 bout featuring Stevensville, MD middleweight Tony "Mo Better" Jeter against Chris Eubank, Jr. at the Sheffield Arena in Sheffield, England is now the main event on the card.

The card was scheduled to feature Kell Brook's IBF Welterweight title defense against Diego Chaves.  However, Brook suffered a rib injury in training.  The card will still go on with the Eubank-Jeter bout as the featured contest.

The ironic situation with this is that Eubank is scheduled to defend his interim WBA Middleweight championship..for the last time. Eubank asked for this last title defense on the condition that the WBA will strip him of the title afterwards.  Whoever wins the Eubank-Jeter contest will immediately be stripped of the title and the new interim champion will be Alfonso Blanco, who won a bout two weeks ago in Venezuela.  No, this doesn't make any sense.  Listen to my podcast that tries to explain this further.
