Suitland, MD super welterweight Lenwood "Mr. Composure" Dozier will be in action on Wednesday, July 8 at BB KIng's Blues Club and Grill as he faces Patrick Day of Freeport, NY in an eight-round co-feature contest.
Dozier (9-7-1, four KO's) has lost two straight contests to boxers with a combined won-loss record of 24-1. This is Dozier's first appearance in the ring since dropping a six-round unanimous decision to Prichard Colon on August 9 in Brooklyn, NY.
Day (10-1-1, six KO's) bounced back from suffering his first pro loss by scoring a first-round TKO of Colby Courter on April 10 in Brooklyn. Day's first loss came at the hands of Beltway Boxer Alantez Fox on January 9 in Cabazon, CA. Day dropped an eight-round majority decision on a nationally-televised (Shobox on Showtime) card.
