Ballard, Rivers Get Opponents For June 30 Bouts In Philadelphia!

Undefeated Beltway Boxers D'Mitrius "Big Meech" Ballard and Kevin "K-Smoov" Rivers, Jr. now have opponents for their bouts on Tuesday, June 30 at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA.

Ballard, a super middleweight from Temple Hills, MD (9-0, eight KO's) will take on Josue "Chiquilin" Ovando of Mexico (13-5-1, 10 KO's) in a six-round co-feature bout that will be shown on Fox Sports 1.  Ovando has not fought since losing a 10-round unanimous decision to Bruno Sandoval on November 29 in Guanajuato, Mexico.  This will be Ovando's first bout in the United States.

On the undercard, Rivers, super featherweight from Palmer Park, MD (11-0, eight KO's), will battle with another Mexican boxer, Luis "Lichito" Ruiz Lizarraga, Jr. (5-4-1, two KO's) in another six-round contest.   This bout is not scheduled to make the telecast.

The third Beltway Boxer on this card, undefeated Upper Marlboro, MD lightweight Lamont Roach, Jr. (7-0, three KO's), battles Christian Santibanez of San Antonio, TX (3-4, two KO's) in a six-round contest that will open the telecast.
