Beltway Boxers Gervonta "Tank" Davis and Kareem "Reemo" Martin scored victories Friday night on a card at the Claridge Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ.
Baltimore featherweight Davis, participating in his first scheduled eight-round contest, needed just 75 seconds to stop Alberto Mora of Mexico. Davis is now 11-0, 10 KO's. Mora drops to 5-4, one KO.
DC welterweight Martin moved up to the six-round category for the first time and won a unanimous decision over Donald Sanchez of Albuquerque, NM. Martin won by scores of 60-54 (twice) and 58-56. Martin's record is now 5-0-1, three KO's while Sanchez falls to 2-2, one KO.
