McCalla Loses Unanimous Decision In Las Vegas; Snyder Stopped In Indio!

Tough night for Beltway Boxers as two lost nationally-televised contests.

Cecil McCalla dropped a 10-round unanimous decision to former world champion Ishe Smith at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, NV on ESPN2. McCalla fell behind early in the contest and was outgunned throughout by the former member of the first season Contender cast.  McCalla lost by scores of 98-92 and 97-93 (twice).

McCalla loses his second straight bout and is now 20-2, seven KO's.  Smith is now 27-7, 12 KO's.

At the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, CA,  Joshua Snyder was stopped early in the second round in his bout against undefeated Jason Quigley on Fox Sports 1.  Quigley landed a devastating right-left-right combination to drop Snyder at 44 seconds of the second round.   Snyder falls to 9-12-1, three KO's while Quigley remains perfect at 6-0, six KO's.
