TV Portion Of Washington State Card Shuffles For Beltway Boxers!

There is a lot of shuffling going on with the Saturday, December 20 card at the Little Creek Resort in Shelton, WA with the Beltway Boxers on the card being affected the most.

First, Anthony Peterson's original opponent, Yakibu Amidu dropped off the card so Peterson (34-1, 22 KO's) will battle Mexican veteran Hector Velazquez (56-24-3, 38 KO's) in a 10-round contest.  However, because of the change in opponent, Peterson will no longer be the co-feature on the Showtime telecast.

"Mr." Gary Russell, Jr. will take Peterson's spot on the telecast as his 10-round contest with Christopher Martin remains intact. According to Boxrec.com, Russell's brother, Antonio, is no longer on the card.  Antonio Russell was scheduled to make his pro debut.

One other change, Dominic "Lights Out" Wade will not face Grady Brewer on this card.  Wade will now take on Eddie Hunter of Kent, WA (10-11-2, three KO's) in a 10-round contest.
