Mike Balogun delivers another Beltway Boxing Knockout Of The Year candidate as he blasted debuting Cody Troutman of East Cleveland, OH in just 11 seconds.
Balogun threw two light punches to the midsection and then hurled an explosive overhand right that toppled Troutman onto his back. The bout was immediately stopped.
Balogun is now 3-0 three KO's. Troutman loses his pro debut.
Main event is next: Tony Jeter battles James Wayka in a scheduled eight-rounder.
Heavyweight Mike Balogun is going to be a fighter to watch in 2015. He has a division 1 football background like Seth Mitchell had. I'm not saying that Mike will have the same career Seth had, but I would like to see how Mike's career turns out to be. He proved in this fight that he does have that one punch knockout power that heavyweights are known to have. We'll see what happens in 2015.
