November 1 'Hometown Takeover' Card Coming Together!

The All-In Entertainment card slated for Saturday, November 1 at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, DC is coming together.

As BATB mentioned earlier, main eventer Dusty Hernandez Harrison of DC will have a new opponent for this contest as Hector Munoz, Harrison's scheduled opponent for the card's original date of September 27, could not participate on this date.

The new opponent for Harrison (23-0, 12 KO's) in this scheduled 10-round contest will be veteran Michael "Cold Blood" Clark of Columbus, OH (44-11-1, 18 KO's).   Harrison is coming off an eight-round unanimous decision win over Wilfredo Acuna on July 26 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.   Clark, a cast member of the second season of The Contender, has been stopped in four of his last five contests.

There are four six-round bouts scheduled for the card.  Undefeated Landover, MD junior middleweight "The Cuban Assassin" Larry Recio will battle Roberto Lopez of Kissimmee, FL.  Recio (7-0, five KO's) won a six-round unanimous decision over Grayson Blake on July 24 in Fort Washington, MD.  Lopez (4-7-2, one KO's) will be facing a Beltway Boxer for the third time.  Lopez lost by four-round unanimous decision to David Grayton in October of 2013 in DC and was stopped by Mike Reed in the third round in July of last year in Fort Washington.

In heavyweight action, "The Big Ticket" Dwayne McRae will face off against Grover Young of Memphis, TN.  McRae (14-3, eight KO's) is looking for his fifth straight victory.  McRae stopped Zeferino Albino in the third round in his last bout on May 17 in Annandale, VA.  Young (8-13-1, five KO's) broke a six-bout losing streak with his first-round knockout victory over Mathan Hester on September 20 in Memphis.

Undefeated Accokeek, MD junior middleweight "Swift" Jarrett Hurd returns to action against Terry Cade of Aiken, SC.  Hurd (12-0, seven KO's) stopped Joshua Robertson in the first round on June 13 in Fort Washington.  Cade (4-6-1, two KO's) will try to break a four-bout losing streak as he faces an undefeated boxer for the fourth time in his last five contests.

In another six-round contest, "The Pride of Alexandria" Brandon Quarles of Alexandria, VA will take on Dennis Sharpe of Bayonne, NJ.  Quarles (13-3-1, five KO's) will look to bounce back from his eight-round unanimous decision loss to Corey Rodriguez on August 2 in Carlton, MN.  Sharpe (17-13-4, four KO's) will make his second straight trip to DC.  In his last outing, Sharpe was stopped in the fourth round by Demond Nicholson.

Rookie lightweight Mykal "The Professor" Fox of Forestville, MD will battle veteran Sean Lockhart of Columbia, SC in a four-round bout.  Fox (3-0, one KO) scored his first professional knockout in his last outing with a third-round TKO over Mason Wicket on July 18 in Fort Washington, MD.  Lockhart (5-23-2, two KO's) also makes a quick return to DC after dropping a six-round unanimous decision to Bobby Gunn, Jr. on August 9.

Fort Washington super bantamweight Marq "The Monster" Johns will be in another four-rounder against Jesus Gonzales of Bethlehem, PA.  Johns (4-0-1, four KO's) has stopped his last four opponents.  Gonzales (2-9, two KO's) has gone the distance in four of his last five contests but has lost five in a row.

Also, lightweight Emanuel "Jab" Johnson of Brandywine, MD will take on the debuting Patrick Chaffin of Memphis, TN.  Johnson (2-0) won a four-round majority decision over Calvin Smith on July 18 in Fort Washington.
