Undefeated Accokeek, MD junior middleweight "Swift" Jarrett Hurd has become the latest Beltway Boxer to sign with uber-boxing manager Al Haymon.
Hurd (12-0, seven KO's) has improved steadily in his three years as a professional. Hurd had the Beltway Boxing Knockout of the Year in 2013 when he stopped George Armenta on December 6 in Fort Washington, MD.
Hurd returns to action on Saturday, November 1 when he takes on Terry Cade of Aiken, SC (4-6-1, two KO's) in a six-round bout at Constitution Hall in Washington, DC.
Haymon now has 11 Beltway Boxers under contract. Hurd joins a list featuring The Peterson Brothers, Gary Russell, Jr. Thomas Williams, Dominic Wade, Gervonta Davis, Kareem Martin, David Grayton, Phil Jackson Benson and Danny Kelly.
