Harrison Suffers Ankle Injury; Sept 27 Bout In Jeopardy!

Undefeated DC welterweight Dusty Hernandez Harrison recently suffered an ankle injury in training that may postpone his Saturday, September 27th bout at Constitution Hall in DC.

Harrison was slated to battle Victor "Hurricane Munoz of  Albuquerque, NM for the vacant WBC Continental Americas Welterweight title in the main event of the card.  Harrison's advisor, Jeff Fried tells BATB that an official decision on the bout will not be made before Friday, when Harrison is scheduled to have a doctor look at the ankle.

"Top priority is always Dusty's health and well being and we will know more tomorrow once we get together and receive medical guidance and see how Dusty is feeling," said Fried. "We will then make a collective decision on what is best."
